I’m Doreen — mid-thirties, a Kenyan novelist and marketer based in Nairobi. My writing journey began long before I ever called myself an author. For years, I’ve worked in marketing jobs to put myself through a writing education, all while reading widely and studying story structure, determined to learn everything I could about the craft. When I was finally in a position to invest in myself, I published my books one by one, invested in a small business course, and put all my energy, love, and dedication into what is now The Novel Nook Program and this author platform you’re on today.
