She told herself it was just pleasure. She lied.
Lane has spent years chasing the feeling that Austin left behind — in other beds, other arms, other bodies that almost fit. Stripped & Naked is her confession. Told through 23 raw, intimate chapters, each named for an act of the body, this is a story about the grief that lives underneath desire, and the woman who had to lose herself completely before she could finally find her own name.
Not a love story. A becoming.
Contains poetry, mature content, and explicit scenes.

1 review for Stripped and Naked
Mito Osoo –
For me, Lana and Austin were two characters whose story deserved more attention and, most importantly, a proper sense of closure. Their journey left me wanting more because I felt that there were still unanswered questions surrounding their relationship and where their lives ultimately ended up. I understand that not every story needs a perfectly happy ending, but I believe readers deserve to understand what became of characters they had grown attached to.
That said, I enjoyed the emotional depth of the book and the way Doreen E. Khamala creates characters who make you feel invested in their lives. The fact that I am still thinking about Lana and Austin after finishing the book is, in itself, a testament to how memorable their characters were.
Overall, I enjoyed Stripped and Naked, but I finished it with one major thought ☺️Lana and Austin deserved a proper closure. I would have appreciated even a short epilogue showing where they ended up and giving readers the opportunity to say a proper goodbye to their stories.
