ABOUT THE BOOK
Chronicles of Civilized Madmen is a bold, thriller, drama and unsettling collection of stories that explores the hidden violence beneath civilization, democracy, religion, and power. Set in worlds that feel both fictional and painfully familiar, the book examines how societies fall under the influence of the powerful few who bend the truth, morality and justice to serve themselves. Behind promises of progress and freedom lies corruption, exploitation, hypocrisy, and violence masked as stability. Against the backdrop of political turmoil, social division, and personal hardships, the stories expose how ordinary people are forced to survive within systems designed to silence them while rewarding those who manipulate fear and obedience.
At its heart, the collection questions whether modern civilization is truly civilized at all, or simply madness dressed in polished language and respectable institutions. It challenges the disturbing reality that many people exist within invisible walls built by governments, history, religion, and social expectations- walls so normalized that they are rarely challenged. Blending tragedy, satire, anger, and dark humor, Chronicles of Civilized Madmen invites readers to reflect on power, complicity, and the cost of remaining silent in a world where injustice is often presented as necessity and cruelty is justified in the name of stability.
